Product Manager


We're looking for a Product Manager who will own the execution of our product vision. You will be responsible for leading the development of features, setting the product roadmap, and identifying customer needs through feedback. You will become an expert in our industry and collaborate closely with different stakeholders to guide the product in the right direction. Strong communication, curiosity and empathy of our customers will be critical to your success.


Responsibilities


  • Define the product roadmap and vision for PostBeyond
  • Decompose high-level product ideas and concepts into concrete user stories that are ready for design & development
  • Work with UX designers to conceptualize ideas into wireframes and Web/iOS/Android designs
  • Collaborate with developers during the sprint cycle to ensure that the product vision and scope is managed and executed successfully
  • Work closely with internal teams (Customer Success, Sales and Marketing) to ensure the organization is prepared to market, sell, service and support all new product capabilities
  • Assist with product release communication for internal and external
  • Manage and prioritize the backlog; be the central point of contact for product feedback across all channels and teams
  • Speak with customers and users to learn about their needs and pain points, gather feedback on existing and upcoming product capabilities
  • Identify new product opportunities and anticipate customer needs; build alignment with leadership team towards new visions and ideas
  • Leveraging BI & SQL tools, conduct product usage analysis to extract insights and form testable hypotheses; identify opportunities and pain-points in product adoption & growth
  • Manage the full product lifecycle including ideation, customer interviews, product launch and setting metrics

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in as a MarTech product manager role or equivalent
  • Solid understanding of agile best practices and user story writing;
  • Proven performance working in an agile environment with designers and developers through sprints
  • Excellent communicator both verbally and in writing; able to articulate and explain feature vision and concepts to designers and developers as well as articulate the business value to non-technical teams
  • Extreme customer empathy; always thinking about how to improve things for customers and putting yourself in their shoes
  • Proven success working with business teams to build and prioritize a backlog
  • Strong analytical background in a product capacity; ability to deep dive into behavior and usage data and derive hypotheses
  • Must be a go-getter, always pushing ahead in anticipation and seeking out opportunities instead of looking for direction and reacting to the situation
  • Must be an excellent collaborator; always being open to other perspectives and knowing how to build relationships with other teams to improve their own performance

Nice to haves:

  • Solid understanding of UX/UI best practices for web, responsive, and mobile
  • Technical experience with feedback collection platforms, such as Uservoice or ProductBoard
  • Technical knowledge in software development and understanding of how SDLC works; understanding of technical feasibility and complexity
  • Make data-driven decisions and ask “what problem does this solve for our customers?”
  • Enjoy speaking to customers and facilitating in-depth conversations that uncover hidden insights
