Position Overview: We are looking for a proactive and motivated Outbound Sales Representative with 2-4 years of outbound sales experience, ideally within the food and beverage industries. In this role, you will be responsible for contacting B2B businesses in the food, beverage, and alcohol sectors across Canada. You will execute sales plans and engage with leads provided by the commercial team. Your goal will be to generate interest, set appointments, and drive new customer sign-ups. You will collaborate closely with the Vice-President, Commercial, and the Business Development team to achieve sales objectives.

This position is open to English-speaking candidates in Canada, and while being bilingual (English and French) is preferred, it is not a requirement. A good understanding of technology is advantageous, but comprehensive 1-month onboarding training will be provided to help you master the pitch and understand the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound prospecting (calls, emails, social media) to B2B businesses in the food, beverage, and alcohol sectors across Canada.
  • Follow and execute the sales plans to reach out to leads.
  • Leads will be provided by the commercial team, and you will be responsible for engaging and qualifying them.
  • Present PivoHub's marketplace benefits to prospects.
  • Book appointments for the Business Development team to follow up with interested prospects.
  • Track and follow up with leads to ensure proper onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM system of all interactions and activities.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development team to achieve sales objectives, including booking appointments and signing up new customers.
  • Provide feedback to improve sales pitches and customer experience based on prospect interactions.
  • Meet individual and team performance goals, contributing to overall sales success.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of outbound sales experience, ideally within the food and beverage industries.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and generating high-quality leads.
  • Strong communication and persuasive skills, with the ability to effectively handle objections.
  • Highly self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Experience with CRM systems for tracking sales activities.
  • Fluency in English is required; bilingualism (English/French) is an asset but not mandatory.
  • A good understanding of technology is relevant, but full training will be provided.
  • Interest or experience in the food, beverage, and alcohol sectors is a plus.

Work Setup:

  • This is a remote position available to candidates across Canada.
  • A VOIP phone line, CRM system, and remote work tools will be provided.

Compensation:

  • Base salary. 
  • Commissions based on meeting sales objectives. 
  • Performance-based team bonuses.Base salary with commissions and bonuses: $50,000 - $70,000 per year.
