Content Marketing Associate
MarketingFull TimeToronto, ON$50,000 CAD per year
About the Role
As our Content Marketing Associate you will be the voice of PheedLoop. You won’t just be writing "marketing fluff” you will be the bridge between our powerful event technology and the people who use it. You will split your genius between driving top-of-funnel growth (SEO blogs, case studies, whitepapers) and ensuring our existing users have a world-class experience through a comprehensive, easy-to-navigate Knowledge Base.
What will my impact be?
- Authority & Growth: You’ll establish PheedLoop as a domain expert by creating high-quality, SEO-driven content that answers real questions for event professionals.
- User Empowerment: You’ll own the PheedLoop Knowledge Base, turning complex product features into clear, actionable technical documentation that reduces support tickets and delights users.
- Product Translation: You’ll dive into the "how" of our software to explain the "why" to our market.
Your Day to Day
Content Marketing & SEO
- Own the editorial calendar, producing blogs, case studies, and e-books that drive organic traffic.
- Conduct keyword research to identify high-impact topics that align with our product's strengths.
- Analyze competitor content and search trends to ensure PheedLoop stays ahead of the curve.
Technical Documentation & Knowledge Base (KB)
- KB Ownership: Build, organize, and maintain a comprehensive Knowledge Base that serves as the "source of truth" for PheedLoop users.
- Feature Launches: Work with the Product team to document new features before they launch, ensuring help articles are ready on day one.
- Simplifying Complexity: Translate technical jargon and complex workflows into step-by-step guides, FAQs, and video scripts.
- Audit & Update: Regularly review technical docs to ensure they reflect the current UI/UX of the platform.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Sales/CS Support: Create "leave-behind" assets and technical one-pagers that help the Sales team close deals.
- Product Feedback: Use insights from the KB (what are people searching for?) to provide feedback to the Product team on user friction points.
Who You Are
You are a clear, logical communicator who loves to write. Maybe you have a blog, a killer portfolio from school, or you’re the person your friends ask to proofread their essays. You’re curious about how software works and you enjoy the "lightbulb moment" when a complex idea is explained simply. You don’t need to be an expert in event tech yet; you just need to be a fast learner who is excited to dive into a profitable, fast-growing startup.
Requirements (Entry-Level/Early Career)
- A Portfolio that Pops: You don’t need a decade of work, but you do need to show us you can write. This could be university projects, personal blogs, or internships. We’re looking for clarity, grammar, and a bit of personality.
- The "Teacher" Instinct: You enjoy explaining things. Whether it's a "How-To" guide for a hobby or a deep-dive analysis into a topic you love, you know how to structure information so it’s easy to follow.
- Technical Curiosity: You aren't intimidated by new tools. You’re the type of person who actually reads the manual (or at least knows how to Google the answer effectively).
- Attention to Detail: You’re the person who catches the typo in the restaurant menu. In this role, details matter; especially when writing technical "step-by-step" guides.
- Organization: You can keep track of a few different projects at once. You’ll be switching between "Creative Marketing" and "Logical Documentation," so staying organized is key.
- Based in Toronto: You’re excited to work in person at our Yonge–Sheppard office and learn directly from our Marketing and Product teams.
