What you’ll build everyday

• Lead the architecture and development of powerful full-stack products used by thousands of event organizers around the world.
• Own complex systems end-to-end using Python / Django and TypeScript / React, building software that is fast, scalable, and built to last.
• Design and optimize high-performance APIs that power critical workflows, integrations, and customer experiences.
• Turn Figma designs into polished, production-ready interfaces that feel seamless, modern, and pixel-perfect.
• Ship major features from concept to deployment with real ownership, autonomy, and visibility across the company.
• Drive releases to AWS, improve CI/CD pipelines, and help us build a world-class engineering machine.
• Strengthen code quality through clean architecture, strong testing practices, and thoughtful technical documentation.
• Solve deep technical challenges around performance, scalability, maintainability, and system design.
• Work directly with customers, Customer Success, and cross-functional teams to build solutions that solve real business problems.
• Lead product and engineering experiments, using data and analytics to guide smarter decisions.
• Mentor rising engineers, raise the technical bar, and help shape a culture of excellence.
• Influence product direction, technical strategy, and the future of a rapidly growing platform.

Skills we are looking for

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, with strong ownership of complex products or systems.
• Proven senior-level ability to independently lead projects, make sound technical decisions, and deliver high-impact work.
• Strong backend expertise with Python / Django and building scalable production systems.
• Strong frontend experience with React, modern state management, and component-driven architecture.
• Deep understanding of REST APIs, integrations, authentication flows, and reliable distributed systems.
• Experience with AWS, cloud infrastructure, deployments, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong database knowledge across SQL, ORMs, performance tuning, and scalable data models.
• High standards for code quality, testing, maintainability, and long-term technical health.
• Ability to think beyond code, balancing user experience, business priorities, and engineering tradeoffs.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical ideas clearly across technical and non-technical teams.
• Mentorship mindset: someone who elevates teammates through guidance, feedback, and example.
• Comfortable moving quickly in a fast-paced environment where priorities evolve, and ownership is expected.
• Curious, adaptable, and always learning, especially around new tools, AI, and modern engineering practices.
