About NordSpace
NordSpace (https://nordspace.com) is a Canadian startup with the mission to develop Canada's first sovereign space launch and end-to-end space missions capability. With divisions ranging from rocket propulsion and spaceports, to satellite development and planetary robotics, NordSpace is driven to do everything it takes to bring space closer to Earth. As the Software Systems Engineer at NordSpace, you will be leading the development of software products and tools ranging from standalone commercial products, to internal projects that support everything from rocket launches to satellite operations.
As part of NordSpace's goal to become an end-to-end space missions company, we are releasing a suite of independent space/defence focused software products to do everything from training edge-AI models with synthetic satellite imagery, to command and control for real-time launch operations. This role will also heavily support the rest of the divisions at NordSpace where mechanical, electrical, and software systems are necessary, as is typical in a small team environment.
This role requires someone with vision, leadership, and a relentless work ethic that goes far beyond the norm.
