Product Owner

About the job

We’re looking for a Product Owner with a positive, “can-do” attitude who will turn customer projects into a success and create a roadmap for strategic development. Design and deliver end-2-end business processes and lead data-driven decision making. You engage with our customers, partners and consultants to improve the efficiency of implementations and increase customer satisfaction. You translate demand from customers and implementation partners into epics and user stories and see to it that these are delivered in sprints. In addition, you take care of the user adoption of existing and new functionality through clear communication and product delivery.

Team ParagonERP is an experienced scale up team based in The Netherlands and Canada. We are part of the Bizcuit Group, which consists of ParagonERP (www.paragon-erp.com), Minox (www.minox.nl) and Bizcuit (www.bizcuit.nl). Our offices are located in Utrecht, the Netherlands and Montreal, Canada.

About you

You either are a business consultant designing and implementing ERP and/or CRM applications, or a software engineer in business applications software who wants to grow into a product owner role. Ideally you have had your first experience working with demand stakeholders and translating their needs in user stories. You like to work across a variety of areas, with colleagues in The Netherlands and Canada, working closely together with our Customer Success team and our Development teams. Most importantly, you want to have a real and profound impact on the lives of our customers by delivering state of the art solutions.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Understanding customer needs and product vision: create the digital supply chain product vision, define the product strategy and deploy product roadmap;
• Creating and prioritizing the product backlog;
• Writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria;
• Sprint planning and review;
• Progress monitoring and adjustment;
• Collaborating with customer-facing teams, the development teams (within the Services squad and Solution squad), quality assurance, and other stakeholders to achieve your objectives;
• Promoting customer satisfaction and value delivery.

What you’ll bring to the team

• 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally working with ERP software;
• Good understanding of the product owner role;
• Experience with agile/scrum way of working;
• Passion for solving complicated customer issues;
• You are an excellent communicator (in English) and work with many different people;
• Creativity, critical thinking, sense of humor & passion;
• Ideally proficient in Dutch language

We are a distributed team. This role is based in The Netherlands; we work in a hybrid mode and from our office in Utrecht.
