General Farm Worker

Position: General Labour

Reports to: Department Supervisor

Classification: Full Time

Role Objective: 

Support daily operations related to the growing, maintenance, and sale of plants.

General Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized department
• Plant maintenance: including fertilizing, pruning, staking, weeding, labelling, spacing, etc. 
• Support pest and disease control efforts as directed by supervisors.
• Assist with loading orders, as needed. 
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
• Assist with the end of year inventory pack up.
• Assist with poly installation and removal.

• None
• Valid Ontario Driver’s License (asset)
