Summer Student (High School)

Position: Summer Student

Reports to: Relevant Departmental Supervisor

Classification: High School Student

Role Objective: 

Support daily operations related to the growing, maintenance, and sale of plants across a variety of departments.

General Responsibilities:

• Plant maintenance including:
• • Fertilizing
  • Pruning 
  • Staking
  • Weeding
  • Labelling
  • Spacing
  • Tying trees
  • etc.
• Prepare plants for upgrading.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized department
• Support pest and disease control efforts as directed by supervisors.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
