Northern Green Canada Inc. is a federally licensed, EU GMP-certified producer of cannabis. We are committed to the health and well-being of patients and clients. Our experienced team operates in an EU GMP-certified, 2500 m2 7000 square foot) indoor growing and processing facility.
We are currently recruiting for the role of INVENTORY CONTROL LEAD
Summary
- Maintain accurate inventory information across all areas and systems
- Manage cycle counts for all inventory locations, provide input on and develop continuous improvement processes collaboratively with our leadership and production team to optimize inventory accuracy.
- Create and publish monthly reporting
- Provide feedback on all processes that interact with the inventory processes
- Work cooperatively with all teammates in production and quality assurance
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure inventory accuracy across raw materials, finished goods, production material and ins and outs for work in progress.
- Manage, coordinate and lead inventory cycle count process in collaboration with operations team to ensure inventory accuracy
- Manage all inventory adjustment processes in operations
- Generate reports providing clarity of inventory status, including identifying overstocked and aged items.
- Provide sales with visibility to inventory stock both current and aged
- Provide finance with month end reporting
- Liaise with Receiving and Production teams to ensure goods are received on time
- Perform any other duties as required by Management.
Qualifications
Post Secondary Education Required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Inventory Management with Lot Code Tracking [CPG / Food / Pharm environment]
- Experience with WMS, ERP or Inventory Management systems
- Experience in a Microsoft Office environment - mandatory Excel
- Experience leading cycle counting and physical audits
- Understanding of fundamental accounting concepts with internal controls and financial management
- Experience with preparing and maintaining accurate system data
- Previous experience leading a team
- Excellent judgment, problem solving skills with ability to make appropriate decisions under pressure
- Commitment to detail and accuracy
Nice to have
- Six Sigma/Lean training
- Experience in a GMP/EUGMP environment
- Ability to develop and maintain working relationships with internal and external vendors and organizations
