About the Role
We are looking for a Solutions Engineer to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical projects. In this role, you will work closely with engineering, product, and business teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and the ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Solution Design & Implementation
- Architect and design customized solutions based on client requirements and our product capabilities.
- Develop proof of concepts, prototypes, and technical demonstrations to showcase solution feasibility.
- Configure, customize, and implement our technology solutions for client environments.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide expert guidance on best practices.
Pre-Sales & Customer Success
- Partner with sales teams to provide technical expertise during the sales cycle.
- Conduct technical discovery sessions with prospects to understand their requirements.
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations tailored to customer use cases.
- Drive post-implementation product strategy to ensure end client adoption and satisfaction.
Technical Consultation & Advocacy
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Translate customer business requirements into technical specifications.
- Document solution architectures, integration approaches, and implementation plans.
- Provide feedback to product teams on customer needs and feature enhancement opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure solution viability and product alignment.
- Collaborate with customer success, support, and professional services on implementation strategies.
- Maintain knowledge of product roadmap and provide input based on market trends and customer feedback.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
- 3-7 years of experience in technical solution design, software implementation, or customer-facing technical roles.
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development, system integration, or technical consulting.
- Excellent understanding of APIs, cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), and modern software architectures.
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Experience configuring and implementing SaaS or enterprise software solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-centric, solution-oriented mindset.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in SaaS, fintech, payroll, or embedded technology industries.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, microservices architecture, or cybersecurity best practices.
- Technical certifications relevant to our technology stack.
- Experience with integration patterns and middleware technologies.
- Background in consultative selling or technical pre-sales activities.

First 30 Days:
- Meet with key team members and stakeholders
- Get trained on internal tools
- Shadow sales demos and partner calls to understand technical discussions
- Shadow senior team members on [specific projects/tasks]
- Review API documentation and test integrations in a sandbox environment
- Weekly check-ins with your manager
First 60 Days:
- Lead technical discovery calls and assist with client integrations.
- Take ownership of at least one partner account’s technical needs
- Provide feedback on API documentation and internal processes.
