Role Description:

The Senior Financial Analyst, within the FP&A team, will support financial planning, analysis, and business decision-making by providing timely and accurate financial insights. Reporting to the Manager, FP&A, the successful candidate will partner with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking, while contributing to improved financial discipline across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis –

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
• Perform variance analysis and identify key drivers impacting performance
• Maintain financial models to support business and operational initiatives

Decision Support & Business Partnering –

• Partner with stakeholders to support evaluation of business initiatives
• Assist in translating operational activities into financial outcomes
• Provide analysis to support decision-making

Performance Management & Reporting –

• Support preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting for management
• Track KPIs and provide insights on performance trends
• Assist with covenant monitoring and liquidity tracking

Process Improvement –

• Enhance FP&A processes, reporting frameworks, and data integrity

Key Skills & Competencies:

1. Strong financial modelling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
2. Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and effectively.
3. Advanced Excel and financial systems proficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
• Possession of and/or working towards a professional qualification or post graduate degree (CFA, ACA, CIMA, ACCA, MBA or equivalent).
• 3-6 years of experience in Corporate FP&A, Investment analysis, or Transaction support.
