Position Summary

As the Integrated Employment Services (IES) Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the delivery, quality assurance, and performance monitoring of our employment services. This role combines operational management, compliance oversight, and day-to-day support to staff and clients. You will lead by example - providing mentorship to team members, ensuring accurate data and reporting compliance, and delivering high-quality, client-centred employment and training services in a collaborative environment.


The Integrated Employment Services (IES) Coordinator plays a central role in delivering seamless, client-centered employment services that integrate career counselling, skills training, job development, and wraparound support. This role ensures that participants receive holistic, barrier-informed, and culturally responsive support as they pursue sustainable employment pathways. The Coordinator will lead program planning, staff coordination, service delivery oversight, and partnerships that reflect the IES model's emphasis on integration and individualized support.


Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance and Data Compliance:

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of Integrated Employment Services in line with funder and organizational objectives.
  • Ensure alignment of intake, assessment, training, job search, placement, and retention supports across departments or service streams.
  • Oversee data entry, monitoring, and reporting through platforms like CaMS, FFAI, and CRM systems, while ensuring data integrity and timeliness.
  • Conduct regular audits and quality control of client files by verifying the accuracy of data entered by staff and notifying the manager of discrepancies/concerns.
  • Track and review all clients ' employment-related financial supports (ERFS) to ensure compliance with the guidelines, then submit to the manager for approval
  • Provide site coverage and operational supervision
  • Pro-actively support the team in addressing client/provider needs in a timely and efficient manner; notify and involve the manager as necessary
  • Plan with the Manager a strong outreach and recruitment strategy for clients and employers, address service delivery gaps and challenges and propose solutions to meet clients' needs.
  • Prepare monthly lead reports and special reports (e.g., client satisfaction surveys) for internal review and funder reporting.
  • Recommend to the manager and implement workflow and administrative enhancements that improve service efficiency and accountability
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for addressing challenges in service coordination and client care.
  • Support other employment programs such as the Canada Ontario Job Grant.
  • Travel between IES Sites to ensure operational coverage, quality and exceptional, timely client services.


Employment Counselling and Client Services:

  • Deliver end-to-end employment services, including job readiness workshops, one-on-one coaching, and referrals to community resources and training programs.
  • Provide comprehensive case management, including intake, assessment, and the development of personalized employment plans.
  • Support clients in identifying their strengths, addressing employment barriers, and building action plans for job readiness and retention.
  • Conduct follow-ups to ensure client progress and provide additional support as needed.
  • Facilitate workshops to prepare clients for job search, interviews, and successful workplace integration, with a holistic focus.
  • Meet monthly/yearly performance requirements and maintain professional and effective information tracking systems on all activities performed.
  • Supports the planning, coordination, and facilitation of program events including Guest Speaker Sessions, Job Fairs, workshops, training and Hiring Events
  • Coordinates program outreach, including fostering of relationships with key stakeholders, community partners, employers/employer associations, and labour unions to encourage referrals and holistic support.
  • Ensure a seamless workflow and exemplary customer service for clients and community partners.
  • Diligently identify and conduct research on opportunities for clients while consistently monitoring and updating information pertaining to the services provided by community partners.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance the internal referral process and deliver comprehensive support to clients.


Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Social Work or a relevant field.
  • Post-secondary degree or equivalent in Career and Work Counselling/Adult Education/Business Administration, or a relevant field
  • Minimum 3 years of Case management experience required
  • In-depth knowledge of employment service delivery models and solution-focused case management practices.
  • An understanding of the local labour market, available community resources, and the compliance requirements associated with government assistance programs is essential.
  • An understanding of job search techniques and career development tools.
  • Strong background in implementing operational changes, streamlining processes, and leading teams through transition
  • Ability to build consensus during the adoption of new tools, systems, or policies
  • Ability to resolve conflicts tactfully and foster open communication across diverse teams and service partners
  • Sensitivity to, and awareness of, the diversity of cultures represented by the clientele, staff and providers
  • Ability to support culturally and linguistically diverse clients in a respectful and inclusive manner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to facilitate collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in both verbal and written communication skills to promote effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work from various locations within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) as necessitated by the program.
