Mission


Narcity.com is looking for an experienced solutions-oriented Bilingual Creative Strategist, Media to join our rapidly expanding Media Sales team. The Creative Strategist, Media will collaborate across multiple teams and report to the Client Strategy Manager.


This candidate will play a pivotal role by building proposals responding to client RFPs and developing unique outbound products for Narcity Media. Additionally, the Media Creative Strategist will work closely with our Client Partners, Client Partner Manager and studio team to lead the development of strategies and creative concepts within the media sales team.


The right person should be a team player and a strong communicator. They should also be capable of developing strategic and creative solutions by leveraging the right mix of Narcity Media’s products in order to compose cohesive proposals.

Outcomes

  • Bringing in awesome ideas to support clients
  • Respond to RFPs with strategic approaches to media
  • Support Client Partners in building proposals leveraging a mixture of products that puts Narcity in the best position to close
  • Develop creative strategies and concepts for sales proposals
  • Occasionally attend client meetings to present your ideas
  • Accompany Client Partners in important presentations/calls
  • Working closely with the Studio department to make sure proposals and products fit Narcity’s point of view
  • Gathering data to support strategic/creative thinking
  • Maintain benchmark conversion rate for inbound requests
  • Develop traction for outbound opportunities
  • Keep innovation at the forefront for Narcity Media Sales

Track record

  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar type of position with a publisher or agency
  • An educational background in Arts
  • Possess strong knowledge of the media and advertising landscape
  • A Passion for digital storytelling and content
  • Expert deck-building skills
  • Demonstration of Creative problem solving/critical thinking abilities
  • An ability to work well under pressure
  • It is an asset if you are fluently bilingual, proficient (written and spoken) in both French and English

  • Creative/innovative: Generates new and innovative approaches to problems.
  • Analytical: Able to structure and process qualitative or quantitative data and draw insightful conclusions from it. Exhibits a probing mind and achieves penetrating insights.
  • A Team player: Reaches out to peers and cooperates with supervisors to establish an overall collaborative working relationship.

Position Type:


This is a permanent position based anywhere in Canada because we are a flexible-first company. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

Salary Range:


$50 000 - $70 000
