Hello Nori is Vancouver’s first premier hand roll sushi bar within a modern restaurant setting. We are located on Robson Street and have two more locations opening soon at Brentwood Mall and Park Royal.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager you will be responsible for supporting and implementing the execution of social content for all marketing campaigns and strategies.

We are currently hiring a Marketing Intern for the Summer 2023 semester with a start date in April/May .


Responsibilities:

  • Maintain social media calendars for all social channels (Facebook, Instagram, Google, Trip Advisor, Yelp and LinkedIn)
  • Develop, assist, curate, edit and create engaging copy and content, including stories, video, photography and other graphics.
  • Write copy for social media posts, promotional emails, and other marketing collateral.
  • Measure and report the results of marketing initiatives.
  • Performing market analysis and research on the latest trends.
  • Assisting with daily administrative duties.
  • Designing and presenting new social media campaign ideas.
  • Monitoring all social media platforms for trending news, ideas, and feedback.
  • Preparing detailed promotional presentations.
  • Consistently execute community management of social channels including outreach to various partners and responding to messages, inquiries, reviews, and comments promptly.
  • Helping with the planning and hosting of marketing events.
  • Researching and evaluating competitor marketing and digital content.
  • Contributing to the creation of mock-ups, email campaigns, and social media content.

Requirements:

  • Must be currently enrolled and in progress of completing a business/marketing program at a Canadian University/College
  • Excellent writing ability both for business and consumer content
  • Experience and flair for design and layout
  • Experience using the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Experience working with data and reporting considered an asset
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Legally able to work full-time in Canada, and on-site at our Vancouver office
