The Digital Marketplace Manager is responsible for planning and executing digital campaigns and strategizing the right channel to promote the MOES brand. The manager will be accountable for online trading, commercial analysis, and developing revenue growth strategies through pricing, mix assortments, inventory and more. The manager will be involved with promotional activities, budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing metrics to ensure strong market position.

WHAT YOU’RE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Overseeing online trading and sales across many of North America’s largest digital marketplaces.
  • Commercial analysis - analyzing sales and profit data to make better decisions and develop trading and marketing strategies.
  • Managing 1 or more people directly.
  • Develop revenue growth strategies, including pricing, mix assortment, promotion, inventory, refresh strategies and overall site functionality.
  • Profitability and revenue delivery.
  • Market & Competitor analysis with proposed response.
  • Promotional activities, execution, and budgeting.
  • Pricing analysis by SKU and proposals and identifying, opportunities.
  • Digital asset analysis, identifying opportunities for improvement and collaborating with product data management teams on needed improvements.
  • Daily PPC management including spend and effectiveness reporting.
  • Sales Reporting & Forecasting.
  • Planning and executing promotional campaigns.
  • Collaborating with marketing team on execution of product launches.
  • Monthly commercial plans and follow-up actions.
  • Keyword analysis and optimizing site search and filtering opportunities.
  • Customer acquisition campaigns for website and marketplace.
  • Direct customer contact, management.
  • Implementing SKU expansion campaigns.
  • Producing reporting and ad-hoc reporting on financials and key performance indicators.

THE REQUIREMENTS OF A STRONG CANDIDATE:

  • Must be in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia
  • Degree or Master in Business Administration, or E-Commerce/Digital Commerce.
  • Minimum 5+ years of working experience in ecommerce management.
  • Working experience focused on digital marketplace trading or digital wholesale/retail website management.
  • Strong presentation and communication (both written and verbal) skills required.
  • Ability to develop creative and innovative programs and policies based on business requirements.
  • Strong project management, time management and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate and implement best practices.
  • Ability to establish good rapport and working relationships, and to effectively engage management, employees, and external stakeholders.
