Corporate Operations Coordinator (part-time)

Miru is a clean-technology start-up of 50+ employees developing electrochromic windows to reduce greenhouse emissions, increase sustainability and improve energy efficiency. Miru operates a state-of-the-art pilot production facility in Vancouver and is in the midst of constructing a demonstration plant to scale up production of our electrochromic window technology for our architectural and automotive clients. What you'll do:

• Support the Corporate Operations Team Lead on whatever is on his plate that week
• Support Miru’s front desk and daily operations at the Tech Centre location with limited oversight
• Answer phone calls and relay messages
• Greet visitors and contractors and direct them to the appropriate personnel
• Support with packing, shipping, receiving, and tracking incoming and outgoing items
• Handle filing, data entry, and document organization
• Help keep shared and office spaces stocked and orderly
• Weekly operational reporting to Corporate Operations Team Lead
• Assist other teams with ad hoc administrative tasks as they come up

What we're looking for:

• Organized and reliable, with attention to detail on routine tasks
• Comfortable switching between different kinds of work throughout the day
• Clear communicator, professional on the phone and in person
• Willing to take on unglamorous tasks and see them through
• Basic comfort with Google Workspace or similar
• Able to lift and move packages, up to 50lbs on occasion
• Comfortable handling and receiving dangerous goods (chemicals) with provided training

Compensation:

The posted range for this position is $23 - $26 per hour.

Contract Term: Until the end of January 2027
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
