Intermediate Project Designer Key Responsibilities


You are responsible for a project’s success by generating conceptual ideas and translating them into practical applications to bridge design and execution. You develop ideas alongside an internal team to create an unparalleled vision. You then work collaboratively with external consultants to coordinate the design execution, bringing the vision through to successful completion.


On a given day, you may be:


· Sketching, drawing and modelling ideas in 3D

· Creating impactful visuals that communicate compelling design ideas

· Researching appropriate materials, construction methods, products and techniques

· Creating construction drawings & writing specifications

· Supporting and guiding team members through all stages of the design process

· Communicating with vendors and project consultants

· Collaborating with Project Leads and Directors to generate innovative ideas

· Assessing and validating project schedules, resources & work plans

· Building lasting professional relationships with vendors and consultants

· Promoting the values and beliefs of Mason Studio


Qualifications


· Degree in Interior Design or related discipline

· min. 4 years full-time work experience in Interior Design

· Proficiency in CAD, Adobe Suite & Sketchup

· Working knowledge of Revit
