About your Role
The Operations Project Manager supports the Operations & IT team in the planning, execution, and delivery of internal operational improvement projects across the organization. This is a hands-on role, providing change management and technical support to all business units through system and process transformations. With a focus on operational efficiency, the Operations Project Manager will seek out the best-fit tools and systems to support the strategic objectives of the organization.
What you’ll work on:
- Initiate and lead assigned projects, define scope, manage expectations, and communicate progress, and obstacles to relevant stakeholders.
- Continually assess opportunities for process improvement across the organization, creating a pipeline of operational improvement projects to be prioritized in line with core strategic objectives.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, outline and track timelines, milestones, and resource allocation across departments.
- Regularly liaise with department leaders to identify areas where operational or process support is needed.
- Assist IT & Operations team in maintaining critical business and technology platforms including CRMs, loan and investor management systems, and data reporting dashboards.
- Ensure operational risks and obstacles are identified, mitigated, and monitored.
- Combine independent and team work to bring our team’s operational efficiency to the next level.
What you need:
- Minimum 3 years experience as project analyst, coordinator or manager.
- Experience in the mortgage industry considered an asset.
- Proficiency in MS suite of products (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Power Automate, Planner) and Trello.
- Data analysis and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of workflow automation (Power Automate, Zapier, Gumloop).
- Familiar with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce).
- PMP considered an asset.
- University/College Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

- Excellent organization, coordination, and time management skills.
- Exceptional teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate with a diverse group of colleagues.
- Advanced analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
