About your role

Reporting to the Vice President, Marketing the Digital Marketing Lead will be responsible for the development and execution of all digital marketing. The ideal candidate for this role is an enthusiastic marketer, passionate about customer experience, has a graphics design background and who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

What you’ll work on:

  • Focus on digital platforms, such as website, Youtube, social media platforms and e-mail marketing to drive Magenta’s growth in online traffic, sales and market performance
  • In partnership with the Director of Communications, content creation to drive awareness of Magenta, engage customers with our products, and services and improve brand value
  • In conjunction with the Product Marketers, design and execute promotional campaigns, monitor and improve our social media presence, and build a leading customer experience

What you need:

  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
  • Passion for customer service
  • Goal oriented
  • MS Office (Excel in particular)
  • Completed post-secondary education or equivalent work experience
  • Experience working in a small-medium sized office environment
  • Competent with email marketing and social media marketing
  • Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and online advertising opportunities
  • Knowledge of tracking and measuring digital media with key performance indicators and analytics such as google analytics
  • Experience with SEO. Evaluate Magenta’s website and make necessary recommendations to improve search engine ranking and increase traffic
  • Ability to manage timelines, budget, and set metrics and objectives for campaigns
  • Graphic design background and abilities
  • Experience developing and implementing video content
  • Covid-19 proof of vaccination

What you should have:

  • Advanced knowledge of HubSpot
  • Ability and inclination to take initiative and demonstrate excellent judgement under tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven ability to manage/prioritize several concurrent activities, including tracking and following up to ensure appropriate closure or resolution
  • Strong team orientation
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to build rapport and communicate appropriately with suppliers and peers
