Our History

Started in 2012, we built a national platform leveraging lighting, software and hardware sensors to solve clean tech and prop tech solutions. Acquiring the AIMS technology in 2020, Lumenix has developed the world’s only ambient agentic AI platform designed specifically for clinical use. Using a network of ceiling-embedded devices and infrared-based 3D sensors, the system anonymously perceives human behaviour and positioning, while remaining incapable of recognizing any personal information. AIMS delivers real-time, actionable intelligence that allows healthcare teams to proactively prevent adverse events, improve health outcomes, and support staff.

Role Summary:

Lumenix is seeking a bilingual, friendly, confident, and empathetic AIMS Ambassador to serve as an on-site point of contact at the Montreal General Hospital. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate who enjoys working with people and is comfortable communicating across diverse hospital teams.

The AIMS Ambassador helps frontline and non-clinical staff, as well as patients and families, understand the AIMS platform, become familiar with its presence in the hospital environment, and feel reassured about privacy and dignity. No technical background is required — training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a visible, on-site ambassador for the AIMS platform
• Engage with nursing staff, housekeeping, catering, and other frontline or non-clinical teams as well as patients and families
• Answer general questions about what AIMS is, what it does, and what it does not do
• Help address and alleviate privacy or monitoring concerns through clear, friendly explanation
• Provide consistent, human-centered communication that builds trust and familiarity
• Escalate technical or clinical questions to the appropriate AIMS or hospital contact

• Fluent in French and English (spoken and written)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Comfortable approaching people and answering questions in a busy hospital setting
• Calm, respectful, and empathetic demeanor
• Capable of explaining new or unfamiliar concepts to diverse audiences
• Reliable, professional, and able to work independently while on site

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Background or interest in healthcare, science, or technology
• Experience in patient-facing, hospitality, volunteer, or service roles
