Reporting to the VP Operations, the Production & Distribution Lead is responsible for planning, coordinating and ensuring great execution of all of our manufacturing and order fulfillment activities in a context of rapid growth and changes. This person enjoys being challenged in a dynamic environment and wants to contribute in building an innovative and energetic team.


  • Manage Demand Planning, Inventory Management and Production Planning aligned with sales forecasts and production needs. Manage and execute all reporting tied to these activities.
  • Coordinate and follow-up on operational activities of our subcontractors (co-packers and 3PLs) in regards to our products and ensure they are aligned with our production requirements and high quality standards; ensure effective transportation of our products between our subcontractors. Manage unexpected situations and solve problems tied to these operations.
  • Set-up with our subcontractors new initiatives, projects and product launches; maintain and build on great relationships with our many partners.
  • Work with all teams internally to ensure smooth operations and satisfied customers. Example: work with the Quality Assurance Lead to put in place our Quality Management System.
  • Implement and monitor KPIs around cost control, effectiveness, quality and overall performance of subcontractors.
  • With an optimization and continuous improvement mindset, create and ensure implementation and diligent execution of new procedures, processes and tools as needed for effective operations with our subcontractors as well as internally.


  • Minimum of 8 years experience in a manufacturing environment in demonstrated leadership roles in production or logistics.
  • University diploma in operations management, supply chain or in mechanical/industrial engineering.
  • Confident decision making skills and the ability to navigate complex and urgent situations.
  • Leadership, teamwork and autonomy.
  • Great attention to detail and effective planning.
  • Prioritization and organizational skills.
  • Ability to drive results and process improvement.
  • Great communication skills, oral and written. Fluent in French and English.


  • Experience in: food manufacturing, working with co-packers, lean manufacturing, ERP/MRPs and GFSI environments.
