To be eligible, youth must:
- be between 15 and 30 years of age at the beginning of the employment period*
- be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment** and
- have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations
*The youth must be 15 years of age at the beginning of the employment period. The youth may be more than 30 years of age at the end of the employment period as long as the youth was 30 at the beginning of the employment period.
**International students are not eligible participants. As the objective of the CSJ program is to support youth entering the Canadian labour market, the temporary nature of an international student's time in Canada does not allow for a long-term connection to the labour market. Learn more.

Office Administrative Assistant (CSJ)
LOCATION: Lifecentre.Church, Kanata Campus
WORKWEEK: Flexible (TBD), including mandatory Sunday availability
TERM: Fixed-Term Contract
PERIOD: June 29, 2026 - August 23, 2026 (8 weeks)
HOURS: 32 hours per week
WAGE: $18.64 per hour
OVERVIEW:
The Office Administrative Assistant supports the administrative team in the day-to-day operations of the campus office. This role provides hands-on experience in office administration, organization, and systems development.
The successful candidate will assist with maintaining efficient office processes, supporting volunteers, and contributing to a well-organized and functional work environment.

SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to prioritize tasks and anticipate administrative needs
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable maintaining clean, organized workspaces
- Ability to lift and move equipment or supplies as needed
- Basic computer skills (data entry, file management)
- Experience with office systems or administrative work is an asset
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Worker’s primary areas of responsibility may include, but are not limited to:
1. Office Administrative Duties (45%)- Assist with general office operations and administrative tasks
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
- Scan, file, and organize physical and digital documents
- Support office management procedures and workflows
- Monitor office supply levels and report shortages
- Assist with organizing office spaces and storage areas
- Support implementation of organizational systems and processes
- Track and record inventory of resources and equipment
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, orderly, and efficient workspace
- Support volunteer teams, particularly during Sunday services
- Assist with general campus needs and administrative projects
- Provide support for various tasks as directed by the administrative team
