MINISTRY FOCUS
LifeKids Ministry at the Orleans Campus
PURPOSE
The Ministry Assistant supports the LifeKids ministry by helping create engaging, safe, and well-executed environments for children and families.
This role contributes to the planning, coordination, and delivery of weekly services and events, while building strong relationships with children, families, and volunteers. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and passionate about creating meaningful ministry experiences within a team environment.

- Professional in communication, conduct, and presentation
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Model Biblical Priorities
Responsible for upholding the Biblical priorities and core values of Lifecentre. This includes maintaining a growing personal relationship with Jesus, demonstrating integrity in words, relationships, and actions, and modeling healthy personal and family life (where applicable). Staff are expected to live out their calling with consistency, character, and a commitment to spiritual growth.
2. Lead & Support LifeKids Services & Event Environments (70%)
Responsible for leading and supporting the development and execution of LifeKids environments and experiences at the Orléans Campus (nursery to Grade 5), with the goal of reaching and engaging as many children as possible. This includes working collaboratively with staff and volunteers, and contributing to environments that reflect Biblical truth, Lifecentre’s culture, and its mission, vision, and values.
3. Provide Administrative Support to the LifeKids Ministry (30%)
Responsible for supporting the planning, organization, and execution of LifeKids services and events. This includes taking ownership of specific tasks or projects as assigned, and assisting with coordination to ensure ministry environments run smoothly and effectively.
APPENDIX A – DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES
The following responsibilities are representative of the role and may include, but are not limited to:
1. Model Biblical Priorities
- Commit to a consistent personal devotional life (e.g., prayer and Scripture)
- Participate regularly in a Lifecentre LifeGroup
- Maintain healthy personal boundaries that protect character and integrity
- Demonstrate integrity in all interactions, decisions, and responsibilities
- Model servanthood and generosity through time, talent, and resources
- Represent Lifecentre’s values and culture in all areas of life and ministry
- Adhere to the expectations outlined in the Lifecentre Lifestyle Manual
2. Lead & Support LifeKids Services & Event Environments
- Support the planning and execution of weekly LifeKids services (nursery to Grade 5)
- Help create engaging, safe, and age-appropriate environments and experiences
- Assist in leading or teaching in small, medium, or large group settings as needed
- Contribute to creative elements that align with weekly themes and teaching
- Build strong, positive relationships with children and families
- Provide care, connection, and appropriate follow-up with LifeKids and families
- Support, encourage, and work alongside volunteer leaders and teams
- Help maintain environments that reflect Lifecentre’s culture, mission, and values
3. Provide Administrative Support to the LifeKids Ministry
- Assist in planning, organizing, and preparing materials for services and events
- Support coordination and execution of LifeKids events and initiatives
- Assist with scheduling, communication, and logistical planning
- Prepare and reset rooms and environments for ministry use
- Take ownership of assigned tasks or projects as directed
- Provide general administrative support to the LifeKids Pastor
