We are currently hiring an Electronic Warfare (EW) Scientists to join our team to actively work on radar and EO/IR systems modelling, design, analysis and signal processing of sensor data.

Your Role:
· Developing physics-based Electronic Countermeasures (ECM) and Infrared Countermeasures (IRCM) design, testing and customer support of our products & models to be integrated within our Sea, Air, and Land simulators
· Enhancing our software architecture products to meet current and future demands
· Developing interfaces between our products and external applications
· Develop and test equations and algorithms written in MATLAB, Simulink, and C/C++
· Create and maintain technical documentation for in-house and end-user applications
· Research military sensor, weapon and ECM systems and develop input data sets that will configure the corresponding product models to match those real-world systems
· Provide EW analysis services to defence-related customers.
What We Are Looking For:
The EW Scientist should have a high level of knowledge and expertise across the following subject areas:
· Experience with Physics-based modelling and simulation using MATLAB/ Simulink, Python or equivalent programming environment
· Experience with Antenna and/or EW System design and analysis
· Knowledge of Radio frequency (RF) and electromagnetic (EM) wave propagation theory
· Understanding of Electronic Attack (EA), Electronic Protection (EP) and/or Electronic Support (ES) theory, equipment, and capabilities
· Understanding Guided weapon systems (autopilots, tracking, guidance, navigation and control) capabilities and function
· Knowledge of Electro-optics (EO), lasers and infrared (IR) systems
· Understanding of Military systems modelling and simulation
· Experience with debugging, analyzing, and optimizing complex closed-loop simulations and diverse codebases.
· Knowledge of Verification and Validation (V&V) concepts
· Practical experience with standard software test and evaluation tools
· Ability to effectively present and demonstrate electronic warfare concepts to audiences with varying levels of technical expertise.

Security Clearance
Given the nature of our development work, it is a condition of employment that the successful candidate receive the required security clearances. Successful candidates must be eligible for Controlled Goods Regulations Program (CGRP) government clearances and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). In addition, candidates must be able to obtain a Canadian Industrial Security Clearance to NATO SECRET level.

In general, to obtain these clearances, you:
· Must be either a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada
· Must have lived in Canada continuously for the past 10 years
