About the role
LaunchGood is the world's largest Muslim crowdfunding platform, and Zakat is one of its most critical giving verticals. We're looking for a builder to help grow it: someone who spots opportunities, tests them fast, and scales what works across multiple Zakat initiatives. You'll report to the Director of Zakat and operate with a high degree of autonomy.
What you'll do
- Own growth initiatives end to end: shape the idea, launch a lean test, read the results, then scale or kill.
- Open new growth channels: partnerships, community and ambassador programs, and Business Zakat.
- Grow the supply of strong Zakat-eligible campaigns through scouting, onboarding and pitch improvement, working alongside our Zakat Specialists.
- Ship quickly with whatever gets it done: landing pages, outreach sequences, email campaigns, no-code and AI workflows.
- Drive your pieces of seasonal pushes (Ramadan, Dhul Hijjah) with Marketing, Product and Ops.
- Track what actually moves the numbers and report learnings clearly every week.
Who you are
- 5–7 years in growth, business development, product or operator roles. Founder or growth-stage operator experience strongly preferred.
- A track record of starting things from zero and getting measurable traction.
- Multidisciplinary: comfortable writing copy, running outreach, pulling data, and building a quick page or automation yourself.
- Self-directed: you set your own plan, need minimal oversight, and raise blockers early.
- Honest with data: you define the metric before the test and accept what the results say.
- A clear writer who works well asynchronously across time zones.
- A working understanding of Zakat and Islamic giving.
Nice to have
- Experience in crowdfunding, nonprofits or fintech
- Existing networks in Muslim communities
- Hands-on use of AI tools

- Measurable growth in Zakat donors and volume from the initiatives you own
- Several new channels or partnerships live
- A steady cadence of experiments with documented learnings
