Overview
We’re looking for a sharp, strategic Senior Marketing Manager to lead and elevate our marketing team at LaunchGood. Reporting directly to the Head of Design, Brand & Marketing, you’ll be the operational and strategic backbone of the Marketing department—owning priorities, shaping direction, and ensuring our work cuts through the noise and delivers meaningful impact.
This is a high-ownership role that blends leadership, creativity, and execution. You’ll coach and grow a small team, drive clarity in ambiguous situations, and partner closely with Design, Product, and other teams to deliver bold, high-impact campaigns.
You’ll also play a key role in evolving how we work, introducing better systems, smarter workflows, and thoughtful use of AI to improve both speed and quality across the team.
If you thrive in fast-moving environments, know when to say no, and take pride in turning big ideas into focused, high-quality marketing, we’d love to work with you.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coach a small team of marketers, building a culture of creativity, focus, and accountability through 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development.
- Define and drive marketing priorities, ensuring alignment with company goals and focusing the team on the highest-impact opportunities.
- Lead day-to-day marketing operations: run meetings, set direction, and ensure campaigns are delivered on time and at a high standard.
- Own and evolve the direction of our marketing, moving beyond “noise” to focus on fewer, more impactful initiatives.
- Make clear tradeoffs on where to invest vs. where to say no, based on impact, effort, and strategic value.
- Establish and refine marketing processes, workflows, and quality standards to improve consistency and effectiveness.
- Partner with Design, Product, and other teams to deliver standout campaigns and product launches.
- Collaborate with data-focused teammates to track and improve traffic, conversion, and engagement.
- Identify and implement opportunities to leverage AI tools across marketing workflows (content creation, analysis, experimentation) to improve speed and quality.
- Guide the team in adopting AI effectively, balancing efficiency with creativity, brand integrity, and quality standards.
What we’re looking for
- Typically 7+ years of experience in marketing or communications, with increasing responsibility over time.
- Experience across brand and product marketing.
- A proven people manager who enjoys coaching, developing talent, and creating clarity.
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to prioritize, make tradeoffs, and drive focus.
- Excellent project management skills — organized, detail-driven, and reliable.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and initiative; you don’t wait for permission.
- Creative thinker with the confidence to challenge the status quo.
- Excellent communicator, able to align stakeholders across teams and influence decisions.
- Experience introducing or improving tools, systems, or workflows that elevate team output.
- Experience leveraging or adopting AI-driven workflows in marketing is a strong plus.
- Ability to apply AI thoughtfully — enhancing output without compromising brand, creativity, or authenticity.
Success in this role looks like
- Measurable growth in traffic, conversion, and engagement.
- A marketing team that consistently delivers high-quality, focused campaigns.
- Clear prioritization and alignment across marketing efforts.
- A shift from scattered output to purposeful, high-impact work.
- Improved speed, quality, and efficiency through better systems and thoughtful use of AI.
