About the Role
LaunchGood is seeking a Senior Product Manager with a strategic focus on enhancing the fundraiser experience to drive user retention and engagement. You will be instrumental in developing features that empower campaign creators to maximize their impact and manage their fundraising efforts effectively.
This role is ideal for someone with B2B experience. Familiarity with financial technology is a plus. We are looking for someone who understands the unique needs of our campaign creators (Charities and other fundraisers) and can translate those needs into powerful product solutions.
As a Senior Product Manager at LaunchGood, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and customer success, to build a product roadmap that nurtures retention and supports fundraisers throughout their journey. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of the platform, contributing directly to LaunchGood’s mission. You will play a key role in shaping our next-generation products, with a focus on leveraging AI to deliver smarter, more intuitive user experiences.
What You’ll Do
- Develop Fundraiser-Centric Product Strategy: Define and drive a roadmap focused on delivering tools and features that empower fundraisers and foster long-term retention, aligning with the company’s growth objectives.
- Lead Product Lifecycle: Manage the end-to-end development of product features for fundraisers, working with engineering, design, finance, and compliance teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery. Being detail oriented.
- Market and User Research: Lead qualitative and quantitative research to uncover insights about fundraisers, donors, and the competitive landscape. Translate these findings into clear product strategies and feature priorities that differentiate LaunchGood.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Define key performance indicators/Objectives & Key Results related to user retention and engagement. Use data-driven insights to iterate on features that add value for fundraisers and drive adoption.
- Cross-Functional Communication: Act as the voice of the fundraiser, regularly communicating product priorities, strategy, and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Own Product Launches: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies in partnership with marketing and customer success to ensure successful launches and scaling post-launch.
- Mentor and Elevate Team Standards: As a senior contributor, set the bar for product excellence. Contribute to a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and user-first thinking across the product team.
What You Bring
- Experience: 7+ years of product management experience, with a strong track record of owning complex product areas end-to-end. Experience in B2B platforms, two-sided marketplaces, crowdfunding, fintech, or payments is highly valued.
- Strategic Thinking with User Empathy: You think big and act with empathy. You deeply understand the needs of fundraisers and donors, and you translate those insights into product strategies and features that drive meaningful engagement and retention.
- Customer-Centric Mindset: Strong empathy for fundraisers, with the ability to translate user needs into well-defined, impactful product features.
- Stakeholder Management: You bring a strong ability to align cross-functional teams around a shared vision. You effectively manage stakeholder expectations across departments and with key external partners, ensuring clear communication and prioritization.
- Technical Insight: Ability to work effectively with engineering on technical trade-offs, especially around integrating and optimizing payment technology for seamless user experiences.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing product performance metrics to guide product iterations, focused on driving retention and optimizing the fundraiser experience.
- Data Analysis Skills: Proven ability to analyze data, gain insights, and drive product decisions using data analytics tools, with experience in tools like Heap and Looker are highly valued. A/B testing experience would be ideal.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Experience leading cross-functional projects, managing complex product roadmaps, and prioritizing features that align with both user needs and business goals.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, with an entrepreneurial spirit that drives initiative and innovation.
- Excellent Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
Nice to Have
- Experience in crowdfunding, nonprofits, or two sided marketplaces, B2B/B2B2C business models.
- Experience in payment processing, digital wallets, or other financial technology.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and their integration into product platforms.
- A track record of successful product launches and go-to-market collaboration
