About the Role
We are looking for a new team member who will be responsible for business development, strengthening and broadening relationships with current clients, boosting our marketing and branding initiatives, and identifying new leads. In addition to these responsibilities, the team member will collaborate on operational tasks with existing clients and work towards expanding our technology offerings. The ideal candidate will immerse themselves in our specialized industry, leveraging this knowledge to build strong connections with both current and prospective clients.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to drive business development and growth
- Generate quality leads by conducting market research, utilizing insights from data and collaborating with the management team
- Collaborate with existing clients on operational tasks to ensure smooth processes and customer satisfaction
- Strengthen and expand relationships with existing clients
- Attending meetings with potential new clients and existing clients
- Build strategic relationships with key contacts within customer organizations to identify opportunities for creating value
- Manage CRM and Project Management tools
- Enhance marketing and branding efforts to increase company visibility and reputation
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
- Research technology platforms and opportunities
- Investigate possible acquisitions to broaden the company's services and market presence
- Build data trackers, reports, and analyses
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly internal and client reports; including presenting findings
- Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction
- Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
- Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role
- Minimum 2 years of business-to-business sales and outreach experience
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
- Track record of achieving sales quotas
- Experience with CRM software (e.g. Pipedrive, Salesforce)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven track record of generating leads and converting them into sales opportunities.
- Strong research skills to identify new market opportunities, understand competitors, and gather customer insights
- Ability to provide high-quality customer service and support, respond to inquiries, and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- High level of meticulousness and attention to detail
