About the Role

We're building a world-class financial product and we need someone to make sure people see it. Our team is growing fast, and we’re looking for a Director (or VP) of Marketing to join our team in Toronto. You're a data driven thinker and tinkerer and understand the art and science of marketing. You're a sharp mind who can leverage sincere communication across digital channels, deploy a meaningful marketing budget and inform our product road map. Most importantly, you want to help people by building the financial tools they need.

Requirements

  • Work closely with the Executive team to develop our cross-national brand communication and marketing strategy; 
  • Lead a small marketing team to drive impactful campaigns, product features, messaging, and solutions to refine and redefine Koho’s market category;
  • Understand market and consumer trends, competitive landscape, and themes in the financial management/banking sector;
  • Familiar with modern marketing analysis tools (ie; Mixpanel, GA, Intercom, etc.);
  • Familiar with paid acquisition platforms (AdWords, Facebook ads, YouTube etc.);
  • Minimum 5 years experience or have successfully run complex acquisition and communication campaigns;
  • Ability to work with engineers, product and design to deliver on a clear vision, voice, and marketing goals;
  • Familiar with A/B testing and other quantitative decision-making techniques;
  • Measure marketing initiatives to demonstrate contribution to growth of Koho’s business objectives while providing actionable insight on a consistent basis;
  • Map marketing efforts, including segmentation and behaviours, to key KPIs.
