What can you bring to us?

·      A diploma from a recognized Electrical Engineering Technology program.

·      3-5 years of field experience

·      Experience with drafting

·      Experience with testing equipment (Omicron, Doble, etc.) & relay testing with various equipment (SEL, GE, Siemens, ABB, etc.)

·      Experience in substations

·      Ability to understand & perform technically complex calculations

·      Strong knowledge of drawings (wiring, schematic, & layout)

·      Valid Driver’s Licence

·      Able to travel & remain at project sites as required

·      Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

You will get the opportunity to work in a variety of locations with a diverse & well-rounded team! Typical responsibilities would include:

·      Performing maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, & repair of low, medium & high voltage equipment in a safe & efficient manner

·      Commissioning & start-up of low, medium, & high voltage equipment & apparatus associated with an electrical power system

·      Acting as liaison with subcontractors & clients, develop customer service relationships

·      Supervising/leading projects to ensure successful project execution according to company & client standards

·      Providing mentorship to junior technologists & support to team members

·      Completing & submitting technical reports & test sheets
