Laser & Shockwave Technician

JOB PURPOSE

Laser and Shockwave Tech is an extension of the practitioner, assisting in the delivery of Laser and Shockwave which is an important step in the patient's journey.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Following plans of care through with the patient
• Reporting back all appointment through Charting for the practitioner to review
• Maintaining the cleanliness and function of the equipment
• Recommending treatment plan changes where necessary in communicating with the practitioner

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• PT/OT Assistant or Kinesiology or Human Kinetic or Life Sciences degree
• Fast pace working environment
• Skills including; time management, organization, written and verbal communication

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Hours for this position vary from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
• Fast pace working environment
