Reporting to the VP Marketing, the Director of Marketing, Small and Mid-Sized Markets, is responsible for crafting Drivewyze’s unique business value proposition to small to mid-sized commercial trucking fleet organizations and drivers. This role will position Drivewyze as a technology leader through a mix of B2C marketing, targeted digital advertising, and strategic engagement channels focused within the trucking industry verticals. As a key member of the revenue organization, this role will be instrumental in taking our marketing and lead generation activities to the next level.

This role will be accountable to develop and execute a marketing strategy focused on the small and mid-sized market segment aligned to the organization’s strategy, business objectives, and goals. This includes:

  • Formulating and executing a marketing plan and campaigns to grow revenue within the target segment.
  • Curating content that resonates with target personas and audiences.
  • Building and executing best-in-class digital media campaigns and, as a technical marketer, nurturing digital relationships with prospects through a variety of digital media.
  • Accelerating the achievement of revenue and growth targets through successful market funnel forecasting and demand generation campaigns. This role has a hyper-focus on lead acquisition, conversion optimization, and funnel management, and knows what levers to push to accelerate results and drive ROI.
  • Mobilizing a growth and data-driven mindset and utilizing analytics and reporting to set direction and measure progress. This includes ensuring the right metrics and automation are in place to identify and address funnel sticking points and improve conversion rates.
  • Exploring new markets and mobilizing strategic campaigns that expand reach and grow leads. Spotting marketplace trends and capitalizing on new opportunities will be critical.
  • Leading a small marketing team focused on marketing automation, market research, and B2C marketing.
  • Demonstrating a passion for revenue generation and desire to stay close to the business through collaborative partnerships with sales, product management, and other internal teams.
  • Using insights, feedback, trends, market analytics, and industry best practices to guide tactics, initiatives, and future campaigns.
  • As a member of the marketing leadership team, guide brand, social media, and event initiatives, providing insight and recommendations to drive engagement within your segment. Provide hands-on support to events, tradeshows, and conferences.

This role is ideal for someone with:

  • 5+ years of experience in a performance marketing leadership role with a successful track record of high growth in a lead-generation (B2B or B2C) business. Preference will be given to those with experience marketing a SaaS product.
  • Previous experience managing lead generation and marketing automation tools (i.e. Salesforce, Pardot, Marketo, etc.) combined with expertise in campaign management.
  • Digital channel expertise. This includes fluency in Google Ads, FB marketing, tier-1 DPS, various retargeting platforms, email marketing, Google Analytics, and all performance marketing KPIs. This includes also includes experience in A/B and multivariate testing, landing page optimization, and advanced knowledge of Excel (i.e. Vlook-up, pivot tables) and Tableau.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with cross-function teams as highlighted by your successful experience managing strategic cross-functional projects and process changes.
