Warehouse & Facilities Supervisor

OperationsFull TimeRichmond, BCHybrid$85,000 - $105,000 CAD per year

Ideon Technologies uses the energy from supernova explosions in space to image deep beneath the Earth’s surface. The world pioneer in cosmic-ray muon tomography, Ideon has developed the REVEAL™ Subsurface Intelligence Platform®, comprising an advanced suite of proprietary data-generation hardware, software, physical AI, and multi-physics fusion that provide x-ray-like visibility deep underground and unlock the exponential power of integrated spatial data.

By transforming muon data into reliable 3D density maps, Ideon helps geologists identify, map, characterize, and monitor mineral deposits with confidence. This reduces risk and cost of traditional methods, while saving time, optimizing return, and minimizing environmental impact across the mining value chain. In turn, this is helping accelerate the world’s transition to low-impact mining and transform how companies recover the critical minerals required to power the global shift to clean energy – improving peoples’ lives and enhancing economic prosperity.

We are a dynamic tech scale-up of nearly 80 employees (and growing!). We are a team that is entrepreneurial by nature and focused on doing things right to deliver great customer outcomes. And we are committed to seeking out the best brains and the most exceptional humans, wherever they come from and however they happen to be packaged.

The Role

We are seeking a hands-on Warehouse & Facilities Supervisor who will drive day-to-day warehouse operations and oversee maintenance for our facilities, currently comprised of approximately 2000 square feet of warehousing space as well as a two floors of office space.

Reporting to the Manager, Manufacturing, you will lead two Warehouse Associates and work closely with high-tech manufacturing professionals, field geophysicists, hardware engineers, logistics, and procurement.

You will impact and drive Ideon’s objectives forward by focusing on the following activities:

  • With operational discipline and data-informed leadership, establish warehouse KPIs using metrics to improve resourcing and throughput, and continuously optimize use of space for evolving needs.
  • Supervise end-to-end material flow from warehouse to production, equipment movement and staging, and loading/unloading activities.
  • Oversee inventory management, including ensuring record accuracy, cycle count governance, and timely resolution of discrepancies and root causes.
  • Ensure production kitting is executed accurately and on schedule based on production order pick lists, with clear accountability and auditability.
  • Lead and promote cross-functional coordination to align on inbound/outbound shipment plans, priorities, timelines, and documentation, while proactively addressing constraints.
  • Lead staging-area readiness and ensure equipment setup and testing workflows are supported with appropriate resources and controls.
  • Establish, review, and continuously improve warehouse and facilities processes, communication, and standard operating procedures—implementing a cadence of review, training, and audit to ensure consistency and scalability.
  • Continuously review and improve warehousing health and safety practices, including hazard identification, corrective actions, training reinforcement, and sustained compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Supervise material handling activities in the warehouse, ensuring safe execution, proper storage, and efficient workflow.
  • Oversee the safe use of warehouse tools and material preparation activities, ensuring team members are well-trained and quality standards are met.
  • Set and maintain standards for warehouse and production-area organization (5S/housekeeping), ensuring sustained compliance and readiness for operations.
  • Manage facilities vendors and related activities including quoting, contracts, delivery, and invoicing (i.e. alarm system/building security, weekly and spot cleaning, demand and preventative maintenance contractors).
  • Ensure emergency management requirements are met, including earthquake and fire readiness.
  • Meet building lease-related operational requirements. Act as point of contact with Ideon’s building operator/landlord (they’re great!).
  • As Ideon continues to scale, actively contribute to planning, setup, and operational readiness of new facilities and/or warehouse locations.

Success in the role looks like:

  • Continuous critical thinking about why things are done the way we are. Status quo is not the way; performance and processes evolve with Ideon’s technology and growth.
  • Build and maintain stakeholder trust by foreseeing needs proactively, communicating early and clearly, and consistently closing the loop on commitments and escalations.
  • Optimize productivity and efficiency within available warehouse space through layout, clear controls, and scalable methodologies—improving throughput without compromising quality or safety.

Priorities in the first 3 months will include:

  1. Assume day-to-day ownership of execution: inventory picking is accurate and on-time, and shipping is aligned to operational priorities.
  2. Lead coordination of facilities maintenance and repairs. Reinforce consistent safety, organization, and follow-through on warehouse and operations commitments.
  3. Establish performance visibility by maintaining and reporting warehouse/facilities metrics and KPIs, using them to drive continuous improvement.
