Warehouse & Facilities Supervisor

OperationsFull TimeRichmond, BCHybrid$78,000 - $95,000 CAD per year

Founded and based in Richmond, BC, Ideon Technologies uses the energy from supernova explosions in space to image deep beneath the Earth’s surface. The world pioneer in cosmic-ray muon tomography, Ideon has developed the REVEAL™ Subsurface Intelligence Platform™, comprising an advanced suite of proprietary data-generation hardware, software, AI-powered services, and multi-physics fusion that provide x-ray-like visibility deep underground and unlock the exponential power of integrated spatial data.

By transforming muon data into reliable 3D density maps, Ideon helps geologists identify, map, characterize, and monitor mineral deposits with confidence. This reduces risk and cost of traditional methods, while saving time, optimizing return, and minimizing environmental impact across the mining value chain. In turn, this is helping accelerate the world’s transition to low-impact mining and transform how companies recover the critical minerals required to power the global shift to clean energy – improving peoples’ lives and enhancing economic prosperity.

We are a dynamic tech scale-up and a team that is entrepreneurial by nature and focused on doing things right to deliver great customer outcomes. We are committed to seeking out the best brains and the most exceptional humans, wherever they come from and however they happen to be packaged.

The Role

We are seeking a Warehouse & Facility Supervisor who will lead day-to-day warehouse execution and ensure inventory is received, prepared, staged, and shipped to support production. You will provide end-to-end oversight of material flow from warehouse to production, direct equipment movement and staging, coordinate loading/unloading activities, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to standard. In our small warehouse environment, you will be expected to bring disciplined, data-informed leadership—establishing warehouse KPIs and visual management, using metrics to improve resourcing and throughput, and continuously optimizing space utilization and process performance.

As the primary point of contact for our facilities, you will provide oversight of maintenance and repairs, including triage of issues and coordination of internal and external resources. You will lead vendor relationships for alarm systems, offsite storage rentals, facility cleaning, water supply, fixtures and furnishings, and any repairs or installations requiring contractor support—ensuring scope, quality, timelines, and costs are managed effectively. You will also serve as a primary contact for our landlord, ensuring the company meets lease-related operational requirements and emergency protocols. Additionally, you will play an active role in space planning and facility outfitting to accommodate a growing team.

You will report to Manager, Manufacturing and work in a team setting with Operations team.

You will impact and drive Ideon’s objectives forward by focusing on the following activities:

  • Establish, govern, and continuously improve warehouse and facilities processes, instructions, and standard operating procedures—implementing a cadence of review, training, and audit to ensure consistency and scalability.
  • Own warehouse performance management, including defining KPIs/metrics, maintaining reporting and visual management, and using data to drive prioritization, capacity planning, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide oversight of inventory management, including ensuring record accuracy, cycle count governance, and timely resolution of discrepancies and root causes.
  • Lead cross-functional coordination with Logistics, Manufacturing, and Procurement to align inbound/outbound shipment plans, priorities, timelines, documentation, and constraints.
  • Supervise material handling activities in the warehouse and assembly area, ensuring safe execution, proper storage, and efficient workflow.
  • Oversee use of warehouse tools and material preparation activities, ensuring operator competency, safe work practices, and quality standards are met.
  • Lead staging-area readiness and ensure equipment setup and testing workflows are supported with appropriate resources, controls, and documentation.
  • Ensure production kitting is executed accurately and on schedule based on production order pick lists, with clear accountability and auditability.
  • Oversee minor facility and shipping-support improvements, coordinating internal effort and contractor support as appropriate.
  • Lead continuous improvement of warehouse and facilities health & safety practices, including hazard identification, corrective actions, training reinforcement, and sustained compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Set and maintain standards for warehouse and production-area organization (5S/housekeeping), ensuring sustained compliance and readiness for operations.
  • Manage vendors and related activities, including quotes, contracts, delivery, and invoicing.
  • Engage with landlord representatives, as needed.
  • Meet all operational and emergency management requirements of the facility.
  • Support company growth initiatives by leading planning, setup, and operational readiness of new facilities or warehouse locations as required.
  • Contribute to space planning and furnishings, and to sourcing any additional facilities required to support the business.
  • From time to time, supervise contract employees engaged to help manage peaks in activity.

Success in the role looks like:

  • Lean into this position to become Ideon’s keyholder for all warehousing and facilities requirements.
  • Reliably meet defined milestones, success criteria, and operational reporting obligations, using clear metrics to communicate progress, risks, and coverage needs.
  • Clearly communicate across company stakeholders – Operations, Logistics, Manufacturing, Procurement and management.
  • Safety champion who can monitor, model and enforce compliance with company policies and safety regulations for all employees working within the office facility.
  • Deliver strong vendor performance and cost control by setting expectations, managing scopes and service levels, and ensuring timely, accurate invoicing and spend visibility.
  • Maintain a continuous improvement cadence (e.g., weekly floor walk + KPI review) that converts operational issues into documented actions, owners, and measurable improvements.
  • Build stakeholder trust by anticipating constraints, communicating early and clearly, and consistently closing the loop on commitments and escalations.
  • Increase productivity and efficiency within available warehouse space through layout/space optimization, clear controls, and scalable methodologies—improving throughput without compromising quality or safety.

Priorities in the first few months will include:

  • Get fully up to speed on warehouse & facilities operations by understanding Ideon warehouse and facilities environment, processes, requirements, safety practices, and smooth operations. [month 1]
  • Building relationships and establishing trust with key internal and external stakeholders. [month 1]
  • Assume day-to-day ownership of execution: inventory accuracy and on-time, correct shipping aligned to operational priorities. [month 2]

  • Establish performance visibility by maintaining and reporting warehouse/facilities metrics and KPIs, using them to drive continuous improvement. [month 3]
  • Lead coordination of facilities maintenance and repairs. Reinforce consistent safety, organization, and follow-through on warehouse and operations commitments. [month 3]
