Full Stack Developer - Junior DBA

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a talented Full Stack Developer with a strong focus on database design and backend services to join our development team. You'll work on building robust APIs, designing efficient database schemas, and creating user-facing features. This role is perfect for someone eager to deepen their database expertise while maintaining full-stack capabilities. You'll receive mentorship from senior engineers and have opportunities to grow across the entire technology stack.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Backend Development & Database Design

• Design and optimize MySQL database schemas, indexes, and queries for performance and scalability.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using C# and .NET.
• Write efficient, well-documented code with comprehensive test coverage.
• Troubleshoot and optimize slow queries and database performance issues.
• Implement best practices for database normalization and data integrity.
• Collaborate with team members on architectural decisions and technical solutions.

Full Stack Development

• Build user interfaces using Angular and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Implement Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and Client-Side Rendering (CSR) patterns as appropriate.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs.
• Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions.
• Document code, APIs, and database structures clearly.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong SQL knowledge including complex queries, indexing, and query optimization for MySQL.
• Experience with C# and .NET framework for backend development.
• Proficiency in Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript for frontend development.
• Understanding of API design patterns and RESTful principles.
• Familiarity with Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and Client-Side Rendering (CSR) concepts.
• Experience with relational database design principles.
• Version control experience with Git.
• Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn and grow.
• Clear communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with Entity Framework or other ORM tools.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, etc.).
• Experience with Docker or containerization.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions.
• Experience with automated testing and test frameworks.
• Understanding of design patterns and SOLID principles.
