Senior Account Specialist (Inside Sales) – Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining an understanding of various industries and financial products (Equities, Mutual Funds, ETFs, IPOs, Structured Products)
- Completing daily outbound phone calls to generate leads and build relationships from a defined target segment of Investment Professionals
- Updating daily call activities and maintaining accurate records in Hybrid’s proprietary database
- Collaborating with your team to develop innovative outreach strategies for your clients
- Supporting and managing client mandates by delivering high quality calls.
- Ability to effectively present results to clients on various mandates.
- Assisting with administrative tasks and special projects as needed by senior team members
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills with an interest in sales strategy and business growth.
- Confident communicator who can build rapport with both customers and colleagues.
- Competitive, results-driven mindset with the ambition to grow into a top-performing sales role.
- Comfortable making decisions in fast-paced environments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- French native/bilingual an asset.
- Ability to articulate compelling responses that effectively address objections while maintaining a positive dialogue
- Ability to adapt and adjust strategies accordingly
- Strong understanding of the markets, or strong curiosity to learn
- Solid understanding of financial concepts
- Solid organization and time management skills
Desired Experience:
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience in Sales, Business Development etc.
- University degree or college diploma in a relevant field is required (Commerce, Finance, or Business Administration)
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) is mandatory
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products and CRM tools
