Director of Sales, Alberta
SalesFull TimeAlbertaRemote
Highclere Capital is expanding into Alberta, and we’re building this market from the ground up.
We are looking for a hands-on, broker-facing Director of Sales who brings an established Alberta broker network and is ready to take ownership of launching and growing Highclere’s presence in the province. This is not a corporate or people-management role — you will be directly involved in building relationships, driving volume, and representing Highclere in the Alberta market.
At Highclere Capital, we offer competitive Prime mortgage solutions and will be launching our Alt-A lending program in 2026. Our focus is on responsible growth, strong broker partnerships, and long-term credibility in every market we enter.
What you’ll do:
- Establish and grow Highclere’s broker relationships across Alberta, leveraging your existing network
- Act as the primary Alberta market representative for Highclere with brokers, partners, and at industry events
- Drive mortgage volume while maintaining strong file quality and credit discipline
- Work closely with underwriting and internal teams to deliver a responsive, high-trust broker experience
- Provide market insight and feedback to support product, pricing, and program development
- Travel regularly within Alberta, with occasional out-of-province travel as the business grows
What you bring:
- 5+ years of experience in residential mortgage sales, with meaningful exposure to the broker channel
- An established Alberta broker network and credibility within the local market
- Experience helping grow a territory or market, ideally in a build-or-scale environment
- Strong business judgment and comfort working independently in a fast-moving organization
- The ability to balance relationship-building with accountability for results
This is not an entry-level or learning role. Success in this position depends on your existing relationships, reputation, and ability to build trust quickly.
Work Location
This is a hybrid role based in Alberta. Regular in-person broker engagement and travel within the province are core to the role. Candidates must reside in Alberta and be legally entitled to work in Canada.
Compensation
Compensation includes a competitive base salary plus performance-based commissions and bonuses, aligned with market-build and growth objectives.
Additional Requirements
Employment is contingent on successful completion of a background check, including employment verification.
Our Commitment to Inclusion and Accessibility
Highclere Capital is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating an inclusive, accessible workplace for all employees.
Accommodation is available upon request for candidates taking part in all aspects of the recruitment and selection process, in accordance with applicable accessibility legislation. Any information received relating to accommodation will be addressed confidentially.
If you’re known in the Alberta broker community and ready to build something from the ground up, we’d love to connect.
