Position Description:
Join our team at Hariri Pontarini Architects as a Systems Administrator and Support Specialist and play a key role in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our IT infrastructure and support systems. You will collaborate closely with the Director of IT and cross-functional teams to deliver responsive technical support, improve systems efficiency, and enhance the overall digital experience across the firm. In this role, you will contribute ideas, implement innovative solutions, and help strengthen cybersecurity, optimize workflows, and support the evolving technology needs of a design-driven organization.

Positions Responsibilities:
- Maintain and optimize servers, networks, and storage systems to ensure reliability, security, and optimal performance.
- Provide prompt end-user support by troubleshooting hardware and software issues, industry-specific software applications and escalating as necessary.
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures, address system vulnerabilities, and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
- Conduct regular system updates, patches, and enhancements to maintain efficiency and security.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the IT support desk, ensuring timely issue resolution.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies through continuous professional development.
- Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, incidents, and resolutions for ongoing system improvements.
- Configure and manage network components to ensure seamless connectivity and minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with the Director of IT to manage networking infrastructure and disaster recovery processes.
- Complete weekly timesheet submissions in a timely manner.
- Assist partner-level team members with work and personal IT requirements and support.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the IT team and overall operations.
Position Requirements/Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, with 3-5 years experience specifically in IT support.
- Experienced with supporting A/V presentation equipment in a corporate/SMB environment.
- Good working knowledge of video conferencing software – Zoom, Webex, Teams
- Experienced with remote desktop management software
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe, Revit, and 3D modelling software applications
- Experience with supporting and managing iOS/Apple devices.
Nice to have:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (or equivalent)
- CompTIA Network+ Certification
- ITIL Foundation Certification
Required Competencies:
- Ability to diagnose issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions promptly.
- Ability to solve technical problems with a variety of technologies
- Ability to configure, maintain and troubleshoot networked devices
- Understanding best practices for data security and compliance
