Rod Stewart

Rod Stewart is a lovely little dog who was sadly in a very bad state when he was brought to Happy Doggo land. He was found living on the streets covered in ticks and fleas, suffering from blood parasites and a skin infection. Poor Rod had been abandoned by his previous owners after they left the island and a kind local person contacted us for help.

Rod is a good-natured and friendly dog who is not letting his difficult past hold him back, he loves being around people and gets on well with the other dogs. He has made a big impact since arriving at the land and is a favourite amongst the staff. His sweet character and fantastic hairstyle have charmed everyone and he quickly secured himself a spot as the office dog. His gentle nature has shone through as he has been a great support to some of the other patients at he land throughout their recovery, becoming friends with Skye and Espresso.

The good news is that since receiving treatment Rod has made a full recovery, he is looking and feeling great and is now ready for a forever home of his own. Rod would make a lovely addition to any household and would be best suited to a home with people who are around for most of the day.

To adopt a dog from Thailand, the approximate costs are between USD $2,000-$3,500. This could fluctuate slightly depending on the destination, the weight of the dog, and the airline; however, we will always be 100% transparent with the costs and would let you know immediately should any changes need to be made.

Should you be successful in adopting one of our dogs, we will require a deposit of $500. This fee will cover living arrangements until their departure, vaccines and paperwork.

The final payment will be used for their travel crate, transportation fees to Bangkok (where the dogs will need to stay for 2-3 nights for a final vet visit and flight certificate), and the flight to their forever home.
