Trooper
Adoptable DogsFull TimeUS, UK, Europe, Thailand
Trooper is a very good-natured dog but sadly he had a difficult start in life. He survived living on the streets whilst being blind in one eye and unfortunately, one day while searching for food he ate a piece of sponge and fishing net, causing serious intestinal problems. He needed urgent surgery, so was sent to the big hospital on the mainland as an emergency. He underwent a very serious operation and a large part of his intestine had to be removed, poor Trooper is lucky to be alive!
He returned to Happy Doggo land after the surgery and has since made a fantastic recovery. He does however need a little extra help to stay healthy. He has a big appetite and needs a special kibble diet 3 times a day, he also receives medication to support his pancreas.
He can only see in one eye, but he isn't letting that hold him back! As he has recovered, Trooper's character has also shone though, he is a very friendly and lively dog and a favourite amongst staff. He is young and playful and gets along well with other dogs.
He loves human attention and would would thrive in the right home. He loves going for walks and is quite strong on the lead, so he would be best suited to an adopter who has an active lifestyle to share with him.

This could fluctuate slightly depending on the destination, the weight of the dog, and the airline; however, we will always be 100% transparent with the costs and would let you know immediately should any changes need to be made.
Should you be successful in adopting one of our dogs, we will require a deposit of $500. This fee will cover living arrangements until their departure, vaccines and paperwork.
The final payment will be used for their travel crate, transportation fees to Bangkok (where the dogs will need to stay for 2-3 nights for a final vet visit and flight certificate), and the flight to their forever home.
