Rocky

Rocky is a special dog who is now looking for a special home of his own.

Poor Rocky was found by some kind people who then called Niall for help. He was in a terrible state and rescued just in time and he probably wouldn't have survived much longer. He was very scared and hungry and very weak, just skin and bones. Sadly he had been dumped on a beach and left all alone because he was old, sick and blind and no longer wanted. He was brought to Happy Doggo land to recover, unfortunately his test results were very bad and we didn't know if he would survive the night.

As his name suggests Rocky defied the odds and has made a remarkable recovery, he has put on weight and even regained sight in one eye. His confidence has also grown, he is a friendly and inquisitive dog who loves human attention and is enjoying his new lease of life, especially trips to the beach and eating smoked salmon!

Rocky has fitted in nicely to the retirement village with the other elderly dogs, where he particularly likes having his own converted crate as a bed, he enjoys the safety of his own enclosed space.

Rocky is now looking for a forever retirement home. He would be best suited to experienced owners who could come and meet him and offer him a peaceful and quiet place of his own.

To adopt a dog from Thailand, the approximate costs are between USD $2,000-$3,500. This could fluctuate slightly depending on the destination, the weight of the dog, and the airline; however, we will always be 100% transparent with the costs and would let you know immediately should any changes need to be made.

Should you be successful in adopting one of our dogs, we will require a deposit of $500. This fee will cover living arrangements until their departure, vaccines and paperwork.

The final payment will be used for their travel crate, transportation fees to Bangkok (where the dogs will need to stay for 2-3 nights for a final vet visit and flight certificate), and the flight to their forever home.
