Sonny

Adoptable DogsFull TimeThailand

Sonny came to Happy Doggo land in a very sorry state, with an even sadder story. He was found alone at the house he once lived in with his family. They left the island and sadly abandoned him to fend for himself. Poor Sonny stayed there for months loyally waiting for them to come back for him, but they never returned.

When he was rescued, his skin was in a terrible state, sore, itchy, and infected, in desperate need of attention and Sonny was clearly feeling very sad and confused.

The good news is that since being at Happy Doggo land and undergoing treatment, Sonny’s skin has healed very nicely, his fur has grown back, and he is feeling more himself again. Sonny is a sweet and gentle dog, who enjoys relaxing on the sofa in the office surrounded by people, and going out for walks. He loves human attention and is longing for a home and family of his own again.

Sonny is an older dog so he is looking for a home in Thailand he can travel to straight away, with an owner who is around a lot of the day for company. He would be best suited as the only dog in the house.

To adopt a dog from Thailand, the approximate costs are between USD $2,000-$3,500. This could fluctuate slightly depending on the destination, the weight of the dog, and the airline; however, we will always be 100% transparent with the costs and would let you know immediately should any changes need to be made.

Should you be successful in adopting one of our dogs, we will require a deposit of $500. This fee will cover living arrangements until their departure, vaccines and paperwork.

The final payment will be used for their travel crate, transportation fees to Bangkok (where the dogs will need to stay for 2-3 nights for a final vet visit and flight certificate), and the flight to their forever home.
