Who we are

In early 2023, Happy Doggo was just an idea taking shape in Niall Harbison’s mind: a charity, operating like a startup, working to fix the global street dog problem for good. Fast forward 12 months and we are an official charity, with a global team and a worldwide following. At its core, Happy Doggo will always operate a little differently: instead of showcasing the (very real) suffering of street dogs around the world, we share stories of their incredible resilience, ingenuity, and joy. Our mission is just getting off the ground, and we’re ready to take everything to the next level.

What we’re looking for

Happy Doggo is all about storytelling. We love to share not only the day-to-day experiences of rescuing dogs, but also the bigger stories of their lives and their impact on the world. We’re looking for someone with a background in video or content creation to help us ramp up our storytelling by capturing the footage we need to produce incredible content!

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with our UK-based marketing team to plan all Happy Doggo video content
• Creating detailed shot lists, schedules, budgets, and prop requirements for filming
• Working individually and as part of a team to execute filming requirements
• Capturing candid and unplanned footage for use across all social channels
• Uploading and organizing all footage to ensure that videos can be edited and released on schedule
• Researching and finding new filming locations to keep content fresh and original
• Researching social media trends and coming up with original ideas for content
• Maintaining media equipment (cameras, mics, etc.) and prioritizing any new purchases according to our content requirements

Qualifications

• Professional or personal film and video experience required
• Engaged on all social media platforms and knowledgable about social media trends
• Familiarity with or willingness to learn professional camera equipment
• Strong organizational and planning skills and the ability to stick to a schedule
• Excellent English communication skills
• Passion for dogs and/or animal rescue
• Thai citizenship or valid work permit in Thailand
• Driver’s license required (moped or car)

Benefits

• This is a full-time position (Monday-Friday) for ฿60,000/month
• Position includes 3 weeks paid vacation plus all national holidays
