Holy Rosary Parish in Milton is looking for a Housekeeper (28 hours/week, Tuesday to Friday: 10am to 5pm). Reporting to the Parish Priest, this position offers a competitive rate of pay, benefits & pension package and requires a commitment to work the outlined hours with some flexibility when needed.

Primary responsibilities

• To care for the cleaning of the rectory and some mechanical equipment.
• Cleaning of laundry and purchasing of rectory food and household supplies.
• Organizing some repairs and upgrades to the rectory.
• Preparing four lunch and four dinner meals weekly, unless stated otherwise.
• Being available to prepare special meals of celebration during the year.
• Some cleaning to the exterior of the rectory and its property.
• Any additional duties may be assigned by the Pastor from time to time.

Requirements

• Education: high school or equivalent
• Ability to work well with others and to work alone
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
