Fork Truck Operator – Mansfield, MA On Site Monday – Friday (Day Shift)
Reports to: Warehouse Manager

How You’ll Be Contributing:Essential duties and responsibilities:

· Safely operate forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise

· Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers

· Transport products to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks

· Inspect forklifts daily before use to ensure safe operation

· Maintain accurate inventory records through scanning and documentation

· Follow warehouse layout plans to ensure proper storage and retrieval of goods

· Comply with company policies and OSHA safety standards

· Identify and report any mechanical issues or safety hazards

· Assist in general warehouse duties such as picking, packing, and labeling

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas

· Perform cycle counts and assist in physical inventory checks

· Communicate effectively with warehouse supervisors and team members

· Handle fragile and hazardous materials appropriately

· Adhere to load weight limits and stacking protocols

· Participate in safety meetings and training programs

Qualification requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required

· Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution setting

· Knowledge of warehouse procedures, inventory systems, and safety protocols

· Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling and documenting inventory

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Good communication and time management skills

· Reliable means of transportation to and from the job site

· Basic math and computer skills (e.g., for inventory tracking)

· Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime as needed

· Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices

· Physically fit and capable of operating equipment in a fast-paced environment
