In this brand-new role, the Junior Product Administrator will serve as the essential right-hand support to the VP of Product Development for Dogs and Cats. This position offers a unique opportunity to learn the intricacies of the pet product industry while directly contributing to the VP's objectives. You'll manage and support various projects, working alongside a small but highly creative team dedicated to innovation and excellence in pet products.

How You’ll Be Contributing:  

  • Supporting Product Development: Assist the VP of Product Development in all phases of product development for dogs and cats, from concept through to launch. 
  • Data Management: Perform manual data entry and maintain accurate records to support product development activities. 
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with international stakeholders and facilitate clear and effective communication with external partners.  
  • Project Coordination: Help manage project timelines, track progress, and ensure that all milestones are met. 
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product development decisions. 
  • Documentation: Prepare and update documentation related to product specifications, testing results, and regulatory compliance. 

 

We'd Love to Hear from You If You Have:  

  • Experience: 1-2 years of product development experience, preferably in a consumer goods or related industry. 
  • Education: A degree in Business, Marketing, Product Development, or a related field is preferred. 
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with data entry. Knowledge of acrobat, and graphic design tools a plus 
  • Soft Skills: Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to speak French or Mandarin a plus. 
  • Adaptability: Willingness to travel and work flexible hours (evening) to meet international stakeholder needs. Ability to thrive in a highly autonomous role. 
  • Passion for Pets: A genuine love for pets and a desire to contribute to their well-being through innovative products.
