Geller’s is an award winning design, build and maintenance landscape company completing both residential and commercial work. While we specialize in luxury, resort style residential outdoor spaces, we complete projects both large and small in both residential and commercial sectors.

Position Overview:

We are currently hiring for a Landscape Construction Foreman within our Landscape Construction Division. This person will help us create and maintain beautiful outdoor living spaces. Whether you're an experienced professional or eager to learn, this is an opportunity to grow your career in a supportive and rewarding environment. Our ideal staff members will not only be skilled at their craft but enjoy using equipment on site, working with their hands in a physically demanding environment, and participating in a fun, engaging work experience.

We service all areas of Winnipeg and surrounding areas. We try to place staff members on working teams close to their residence to minimize their commute to work, however you will need a vehicle.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and work alongside a landscape construction crew on-site
• Measure elevations and setbacks for accurate project execution
• Layout project work sites based on supplied construction drawings
• Operate and direct the use of skid steers, mini-excavators, and other equipment
• Coordinate material deliveries and subcontractor schedules
• Supervise and assist in construction of landscape features, including:
• • Paving stone installations
  • Retaining walls
  • Outdoor kitchens
  • Tree and shrub planting
  • Rock and mulch installation
  • Outdoor lighting systems
• Train, mentor, and direct inexperienced team members
• Communicate effectively with clients and address concerns professionally
• Monitor job performance and track KPIs to ensure profitability
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 2+ years experience in a landscape foreman role
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
• Access to reliable transportation to shop (St. Andrews, MB) or job sites
• Ability to work long hours in physically demanding conditions
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Willingness to work weekends as required by schedule
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (spoken and written)

Work Schedule:

• April to November (weather-dependent)
• Monday to Saturday: 10–12 hours/day, with occasional Saturday shifts
• Winter work is available but not required
• Expected hours: 50 – 60 per week
