Logistics Driver (Seasonal or Year-Round Employment)


Geller’s is an award winning design, build and maintenance landscape company completing both residential and commercial work. While we specialize in luxury, resort style residential outdoor spaces, we complete projects both large and small in both residential and commercial sectors.

Position Overview:We are currently hiring for a Logistics Driver within our Landscape Construction Division. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth transportation of materials, tools, and equipment to job sites across Winnipeg and surrounding areas. The Logistics Driver will primarily operate dump trucks and trailers, supporting our construction teams by keeping projects on schedule with timely deliveries.

This position requires a Class 3 driver’s license and experience handling large vehicles safely and efficiently. Our ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and enjoys being an integral part of a hardworking, results-driven team.

What You’ll Do:

  • Operate dump trucks, trailers, and other vehicles to transport materials such as soil, gravel, sand, and construction equipment.
  • Physically load and unload materials by hand on-site as required, ensuring proper handling and placement.
  • Plan efficient delivery routes to minimize delays and fuel consumption.
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks (oil, tires, brakes, etc.) to ensure safe operation.
  • Collaborate with the construction team to coordinate delivery schedules and meet project deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork for materials and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all transportation laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Provide support to the construction team as needed, which may include assisting with unloading or minor on-site tasks.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Valid Class 3 Driver’s License with a clean driving abstract. 
  • Experience operating dump trucks and towing trailers is required.
  • Strong understanding of transportation and safety regulations.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to coordinate multiple deliveries.
  • Physical fitness to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in diverse weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, or dusty).
  • A reliable, team-oriented mindset with a focus on punctuality and professionalism.
  • Willingness to work weekends if required (weather and schedule dependent).


Work Schedule:

  • April to November (weather-dependent)
    • Monday to Saturday: 10–12 hours/day, with occasional Saturday shifts.
  • Winter work is available but not required.
  • Expected hours: 50–60 per week.
