You'll contribute to meaningful reclamation and site closure projects across Northern Alberta while working alongside experienced environmental professionals who value your ideas, initiative, and expertise.

What You’ll Be Doing

Conduct Detailed Site Assessment's & vegetation site assessments.

Take ownership of field activities, including data collection, mapping, reporting, and identifying practical solutions to site challenges.

Support environmental reclamation and site closure projects while contributing to project planning, coordination, and successful outcomes.

Serve as a knowledgeable resource in the field, mentoring junior staff and helping maintain high standards of quality and safety.

Collaborate with Site Supervisors and Technical Advisors, with opportunities to expand into field leadership and program coordination.

What You Bring

• Hands-on experience conducting reclamation and vegetation assessments, including DSAs and/or VREST.
• Knowledge of Alberta reclamation practices, vegetation communities, and field assessment techniques.
• Experience preparing technical reports and interpreting environmental field data.
• Background in environmental sciences, forestry, biology, or a related discipline.
• Physically fit, capable of hiking and working in rugged terrain for extended periods.
• Confidence working independently in the field, with sound judgment and attention to detail.
• Strong team player with excellent communication and organizational skills.
