Fresh Prep is a fast growing Vancouver company that makes it easy to cook incredible meals in just 15-30 minutes. We do this by sourcing local ingredients for delicious recipes, which are then prepared and delivered to customers homes in reusable cooler bags. In 2018, we were recognized by the Georgia Straight as Vancouver’s #1 meal kit.

We’re looking for a talented Director of Product Marketing and Brand Strategy that will lead our Brand and Product Marketing teams. The successful Director will be responsible for making data informed decisions behind product marketing strategy, brand positioning, competitive analysis, and competitive intelligence. Strong interpersonal and communication skills will be pivotal for this role, as this role will require cross-functional collaboration across multiple teams including customer service, marketing, development, and more.

The Director, Product Marketing and Brand Strategy will be responsible for:

  • Recruiting, mentoring and managing a team of high achievers including creative professionals and product marketers
  • Prioritizing workloads and ideas, to ensure the highest-impact and best ROI
  • Working with the data-marketing team to connect brand and product marketing programs directly to Fresh Prep’s bottom line

Product Marketing

  • Partnering with the Product Manager to evaluate new product development opportunities, forecasting market potential and impact on revenue, and roll out user testing programs
  • Forecasting and building scenarios for product launches and formulating and executing on strategic go-to-market plans
  • Overseeing Fresh Prep’s customer communication strategy, building compelling product narratives and exploring product roadmaps
  • Evolving our marketing personas through new customer and prospect research projects
  • Analyzing the performance of product marketing campaigns


  • Owning the Fresh Prep brand and customer experience, ensuring a well-defined brand strategy and delivery of a world-class product/customer experience
  • Overseeing the prioritization of brand and content production for all Fresh Prep marketing assets, from print to digital and product
  • Positioning our brand, and measuring our SOV amongst our category
  • Overseeing all core brand marketing programs and driving new creative brand campaigns that keeps Fresh Prep top of mind
  • Collaborating with customer service to help foster communities and strong relations with both our customers and prospects
  • Managing the brand budget, and reporting on all brand metrics


  • A minimum of 7+ years experience in marketing, with demonstrated proficiency in managing brand teams and product marketing
  • A minimum of 3+ years working in product marketing
  • A degree in marketing, communications, or a similar discipline
  • Strategic thinking and strong leadership experience
  • An analytical, and goal-oriented mind
